How did you finally become consistent with your trades?

For quite some time, I had associated consistency with having a better approach. After some time, however, I realized that it was more about having an improved process, better risk management, sticking to the plan and avoiding emotional decisions.

What changed is that I began focusing more on making good decisions, as opposed to earning money on each and every trade. Failures were just lessons to learn from.

I did not become consistent overnight. Small steps towards better discipline did the trick for me. What worked best for you?
