28M Apparently making friends as an adult is a real thing.

I recently moved back to India to start my own business after spending several years abroad, and now I split my time between India and Canada.
One thing nobody warned me about is how weirdly difficult it is to make new friends as an adult. Everyone either has a packed schedule, is getting married, has kids, or needs to check three calendars before grabbing a coffee.
So, here I am, outsourcing my social life to Reddit.
I’m based in Punjab and enjoy road trips, good coffee (always coffee over tea), trying new restaurants, exploring random places, photography, moderate hikes that don’t require mountain-goat fitness, and conversations that somehow start with “What’s your favorite place?” and end three hours later.
If you’re in North India and you’re also looking to expand your circle, or you’re just someone who enjoys spontaneous drives, weekend trips, or discovering hidden cafés, let’s chat. No pressure, no awkward expectations—just looking to meet good people and maybe make a few solid friends along the way.
If nothing else, tell me your favorite hidden gem in North India. I’m always looking for an excuse to get in the car and go.
