JBL flip 4 aux issue

Hi all,

I have just bought a 2nd hand flip 4 so that I can take my MPC down to the beach. The flip 4 will not play anything that is connected via aux cable.

I have tried 3 different aux cables.

I have reset the flip and made sure there are no Bluetooth devices connected to it.

Does anyone have any idea what the fault may be?
