The Smart Plug That Simplified My Home

I used to think smart plugs were kinda pointless. Like... why would I need my phone to turn a lamp on? Ended up grabbing one on sale anyway and now I totally get the hype.

I have my coffee maker and living room lamp hooked up to it. The lamp turns on right before I get home from work, and I can shut everything off if I forgot before leaving. It's one of those little things that just makes the day smoother without needing to think about it.

The setup was way easier than I expected too. Took maybe five minutes. I was expecting to fight with WiFi settings for an hour but it actually just worked.

It's definitely not some life changing gadget, but it's one of those small upgrades that quietly makes your home feel a bit smarter. Now I'm already looking at getting a couple more for the bedroom and maybe the fan. Funny how one cheap gadget somehow starts a whole rabbit hole.
