Tunnels (spoilers for 21.3)

!Just spitballing a theory of mine - and friends, I’m worried for my boy Talyn!< >!😬!<

!Seems like we’re going down to the tunnels next week to look for Niel. The rift from our dream is down there, that’s where Daddy Dearest murdered all those monks. I’m pretty sure that rift is responsible in some way for the students who’ve disappeared in the past.!<

!I’ve had the thought that all of our allies are going to be taken away from us this term. We built a good support system in Term 1, now it’s time to break it down and up the stakes in the story. This term has HP5 vibes all over it - with someone in charge of the school who is clearly not on the MC’s side and is using the school for their own ends. Isolating the MC from their friends and allies is a huge part of that.!<

!Talyn’s going down in the tunnels with us next week. Maybe another ally comes along? But I’m thinking Talyn’s going to get taken away next, by the same force/entity that took Niel. Will Niel escape? Hard to say. I could see the story going either way - we end up without both Niel and Talyn, or Niel gets out and Talyn is gone.!<

!Also - Kennard must know or suspect that power is down there. I wouldn’t put it past him to think of trying to harness the power that Andros failed to secure. That’s has to be why Kennard wanted the headmaster job, at least in part.!<
