I had someone try to get into my car last night and want training videos/tips

What the caption says, I was delivering orders at 1am and after completing my last I was sitting unaware in my unlocked car scrolling on instagram when my back passenger door opened, I didn’t see who it was I immediately pulled from my holster (thank God I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt) and the person ran before I got into any position (I was scrambling to find a way to point my gun in that direction both handed or one handed without fully extending my arm and basically handing him my gun) but thinking about really freaks me out and I realized how awkward it was and hard it would have been to even point that way in my small car and how unprepared I was

This is something rare for me normally the first thing I do when I sit in my car is lock the door but I was tired, in a familiar area and just forgot, obviously I will be making sure I lock the doors in the future

What I want is advice on situations like that, should I have gotten out, should I practice dry firing at all my doors in the drivers seat I’m just kind of lost and really freaked out
