What's the deal with the used race win prices?

Has the market on raced wins skyrocketed the last couple years? I've been on the hunt for more 1/24 Byron raced wins and can't believe the prices. Two years ago I was buying some from the Lionel Black Friday sale and Circle B auctions for about $60, and those were the elites.

I just looked now and his 500 wins plus a few others are $200+ for the elites and arcs. Am I just looking in the wrong places now?
