I'm somewhat new to the lore. Can someone please try to give a neutral/objective explanation as to why some lore YouTubers (T B Skyen, Necrit) are considered controversial?

My path started a few months ago with those "lore to fall asleep to" videos, which slowly caught my actual attention, so I've started reading the champion lore stories and finding old(-ish) reddit discussions. In just these few months, I've read time and time again, that lore YouTubers seem to be considered controversial within this fandom, and I feel like I'm missing nuances to understand why.

Can someone please attempt to explain the controversy as objective and yet as detailed as possible?
