Ascending hero's

I'm brand new to investing in cards and I was wondering if it would be better to buy two booster bundles or one ETB both the same price for ascending hero's. What's generally the better investment for holding and planning to sell in several years?

Also, is ascending hero's the correct set to do this with? Thank you for your help everyone!
