Pip award extended to the same end date?

My award ends in Nov 2028, and it’s always had that date since I was awarded it back in 2024. I got a letter from the DWP today saying they’ve changed how they review dates and have decided to extend my award.. to the same date it’s meant to expire.

Is this just the system going haywire in the background without human input?
