Question for the girls

If things are going well with a guy, like no dry texting, no double texting all while still in talking phase what are some reasons why you would still completely cut him off and never reach back?

I was at work and some female coworkers were discussing this one guy who she said was nice but she didn’t know what she wanted and all the girls in the room said to cut him off.

I’m asking because I’m 19m when I was 15-16 I was talking to a girl (same age)f who started talking to me first and she moved and we kept in contact for 6 months. In that 6 months I never double texted because I heard scary stories about girls sending screenshots to her friends if you did that. But like I thought it was going well we always responded to our messages like it was like a good linear back and fourth for 6 months. We even met up during a field trip both our schools were having we sent each other voice messages/disappearing photos whatever. It was exactly 3 years ago she asked when my summer job started I simply said “July 10th” she didn’t reply. I check for a week no double texts. I then uninstalled the app after that week to wait her out. Usually when she left me on read she replied within a day. It’s also worth mentioning I only had an Instagram account to talk to her because she told me to make one because she didn’t like using discord. Anyways I reinstall after a week I was blocked. I thought it was an accident and she would eventually come back. I made that excuse for half a year. I didn’t expect it to turn to three years.
