Why do people think Shane is ace?

It's a really popular thing I've seen is that people think Shane is ace. In fact, someone on another sub blocked me when I said I didn't think he was ace.

Respectfully, HOW is Shane ace? He seems to have a very vigorous sex drive. I don't think he's demi either, as for him and Ilya the sex definitely came before the romance.

So if people think Shane is ace, PLEASE explain why. I'm genuinely curious, no shade.
