I have doubts regarding LNM ECE , please help

I talked to a senior about ECE (who is in CCE) , Now he told me that "ECE is really hard and the prof. there are super strict and apni khundas nikalte hai " he also said , ECE has very low placements and mostly students have to take an extra course amd score a high CGPA to sit in placements .......

Now i dont how much he is right or wrong if there is any senior in ECE please help me

The only other options i have are Thapar ENI , SGSITS EI , or take a drop/partial drop .......
