What do you do when your Downloads folder becomes a mess?

Does anyone actually organize their Downloads folder?

I realized I only move files if I know I ll need them later (probably like 10% of what I download).

Everything else just sits in Downloads until it becomes a mess. Then I quickly save the few important files, delete almost everything, and repeat the cycle.

Is this just me, or what's your actual Downloads workflow?
