Philly area ground cover for hill

Good morning - I had English ivy, poison ivy, and a ton of weeds removed from my yard (75 ft wide and prob 75 long area). I have 3 hills the full width (tiered yard). The bottom one isnt too bad but the other 2 are somewhere in the 30 to 45 degree slope. Too steep to nicely walk up and down.

I was going to do grass on them but not sure if grass will settle in nicely but I won't be able to really use it much anyway. I was looking maybe at some ground covers for the hills and then grass for the flats.

Can someone suggest me some ground covers that won't attract mice, spread into the rest of the yard, allow weeds to takeover but would also be hearty, full to mostly full sun, live nicely on hills, survive year round
