Theory: Miis being "Good Friends" makes them more likely to fight.
I've noticed that any time two friends are fighting, their status is always "Still good friends?"
The datamine shows that there are labels for friends fighting at all relationship levels except relatives. Ex. "Still ultra friends?" and "Kinda getting along?" are coded in, but I don't think I've ever seen them in my game or in other people's screenshots.
When fights break out between couples due to jealousy, they keep their original relationship level, but it just switches to the "fighting" version. E.g. "Soulmates" will become "Still soulmates?" So it's not like fighting automatically resets the miis relationship levels (at least if you see it occur on screen).
But this is a hard thing to test or get evidence for because relationship changes and fights both occur at start-up. So I can't just record all my miis' relationships first and then check for a fight later, because for all I know, their status could have changed to "Good Friends" at start-up, and *then* a fight was rolled to happen.
So I guess rather than proof of my theory, I'm asking for contradictions: can anyone disprove this theory by showing a fight between friends that have labels besides "Still good friends?"
Of course, assuming that their status didn't change after they started fighting. I don't know if their status can change while they're fighting, like by making them help each other when one is in trouble. So if you show me a screenshot where the statuses aren't "Still good friends?" but the miis aren't fuming, then I'm going to be inclined to believe that the change happened after the fight started unless additional proof to the contrary is given.
Thank you in advance to anyone that's able to help out!
