Mas 1 and srm overlap and best to do for intern prep

I just passed fm in April and am about to sit p in a few days. I’ve already been working on mas 1 finished most of stochastic processes, im trying to set my self up as much as possible for an internship at the end of my second year. The next sitting for mas 1 is early November and won’t get results back until the end of December where intern listings mostly close. I’m heavily considering writing srm in September but also want to work on mas 1. This brings me to my main question.

If I learned all of mas 1 how much time after would I need to study for srm?

Also don’t worry about the time line I’m literally doing nothing else this summer but studying and watching tv.

Is there something better in both the long and short term that I can do to secure an internship and benefit still when I graduate?
