24.04 or 26.04

Hey guys, I'm planning to install ubuntu but couldn't decide which one is better right now 24.04 or 26.04. I am a SENG student and I'm training/working on AI models. Not only AI but gaming as well. Could you please help me to choose and explain why to choose? Thanks in advance.
