Breach of Restraining Order Allegation - England

Comments Moderated

hi,

as above. I have a restraining order and I’m being questioned as to an alleged breach, I was arrested and then de arrested after custody was refused. I was then invited to a voluntary interview which I’ve had.

the allegation is that I’ve applied for a job where the complainant works. I unfortunately lost my job as a result of the initial case, and have since applied for over a thousand positions which I’ve evidenced to the OIC, the alleged offence happened close to a year ago now.

I had a court date ages ago now to amend the RO and specify explicitly not to contact this employer so as far as I was concerned the matter was dealt with as I was told that a case got opened when it happened and got closed, hence a amendment to the RO, and now its come up again and I’m being questioned for it.

my issue - the complainant has changed jobs since our relationship has ended And we only dated for a short period of time. Something the officer hasn’t ascertained but can easily do so I also have no friends in common or anything like that. The officer has said that my application was blank so it looks suspicious (I mean why would an application allow me to submit a blank form) I believe likely what happened was I was clicking next or something in the hope I could attach a cv or maybe forgot to attach a cv which I’ve done multiple times but generally get an error message to state that, I don’t really know as i said this happened a long time ago now.

She apparently states the job I applied for is nothing I have experience in And wasn’t doing while we were dating. but for instance I was working in IT and now I’m working in construction, so clearly should show I was applying for anything and everything to get myself back in work As I was desperate for work

Ive looked at this employer and it is not a small company also so I would not be aware she would have seen my application.

The OIC said he will speak to his sargeant about next steps however just looking for opinions on what would happen next (if any sargesnts here would appreciate your opinion)

it seems ludicrous that I’ve been arrested and questioned on the basis that she has told the officer that I knew she worked there. That is all there is as there is no evidence other than her statement
