Smartphones are boring and depressing and i think people don't realise what a waste of money is...

I grew up with nokia until i was 18, then i started using android phones and now i'm on iphone. I think the last time i was genuinely fascinated by a smartphone was around 2015, when iphone used to look like an iphone, samsung was still a plastic funny device, lg and motorola were fiddling with weird buttons and modules. Now it's a massive rush to iphone clones, almost all chinese companies are copying the latest years' iphone design, even google pixel is copying apple's swipe features and samsung is right behind. iphones are boring, i mean, i bought an iphone 16 because my 5 years old 12 was lagging and dying.. and i love the video quality, but that's just it... I work as a merchandiser in a retail store, and i swear most people don't even bother about design, they just buy and go, i used to talk about phone design with my friends as a teenager and late 20, and pulling out the phone from pocket was always a thousand questions like:the colour of led on the keyboard and even features like antenna or camera design... i think we have lost the fun in the world, we have also lost the creativity of choosing something different. this is the same about shoes and cars, everybody's copying adidas and nike, everybody's copying audi and volkswagen...
