Is the Fantome the new status quo?

Like is it like the Hydragrum thing where that wave was a short form of support of then back to normal or is this just the direction we're going?

I'm asking cause I'm new(kind of returning) and falling in love with Dark States. I adore the Power Burst-esc design of decks like Bruce, Favrneel, Drajeweled, etc. I won't lie, new support being these characters in another nation entirely kind of scares me.

Like 2 years ago, when I was first introduced to Vanguard, I got Aurora Battle Princess and my gf(at the time) got Magnolia. We would play for hours every day and it was really special to us. Finally getting the Grade 4s was liberating and when she got the mask of hydragrum, that was so sick. I quit shortly after(we broke up and I sort of tied this game to her, but I've long since undid that and now returned) but I think of the new Lyrical Magnolia and how she would have fucking died laughing at that and played it as a joke, but she would have been sad because nothing new was done for the actual Magnolia deck.

All that said, I'm just a guy out of a loop. I'm hoping that these cool ass discoveries like my love for Final Rush, Drajeweled, the DS design in general, are the status quo and the Fantome stuff is just a short fun thing Bushi is doing for now.

Also is all this blood moon stuff in the show? I wanna watch the show pretty bad and I have to know if for whatever reason Megumi is just like, "guess I'm playing Lyrical now" lmao
