Getting things done with the Link D7i

Had a great time this morning on my Tern folder. Just upgraded to the market basket on the rear rack. (Here's an earlier post I made!) Picked up some new hangers and a cat doormat from IKEA and then went to the local farmers' market for some veggies and tea. So breezy. Took this photo in the park near the market.

Behold!

The net on the rear rack is the reflective Portland Design Works one, and the front basket is the KlickFix Alumino with a clip-on KlickFix pouch. I have some binder clips on the front and rear basket that I keep there for when I'm wearing a skirt. I've found that the wheels are petite enough that knee-length or just-below-knee skirts don't get caught in the rear wheel.

I've been thinking about the Ten:07 Unicorn Pony (confetti looks so fun!) and Omnium Nano (sparkles!), but honestly, if Tern came out with a non-folding disc brake minivelo designed for tight apartments like either of those two I'd snap that up in a heartbeat to stay in the same accessories universe, especially if there were an accessory that could securely clip a cat carrier onto the bike. The Link D7i is just so easy in my city with the internal hub and everything.
