tivimate sometimes starts channel with no sound until I press OK

I’ve run into something a few times with tivimate. When I open a channel, the picture shows up right away, but there’s no sound at first. If I press the OK button or bring up the info bar, the audio suddenly kicks in.

It doesn’t happen every time, just randomly.

Once the sound starts, everything works perfectly. No drops or sync issues.

Is this just the player taking a second to initialize the audio, or could it be something with my device settings?
