I feel left out because I don't want any surgeries
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share something that has been on my mind.
I have very bad scar and wound healing. After an appendix surgery, my wound stayed open for 2 months. My body also reacts very badly to stitches. Because of this trauma, I decided to never get any transgender surgeries. No FFS, no breast augmentation, and no bottom surgery.
Luckily, I am naturally feminine and I am happy with how I look. I want to be happy for myself, not for others. I don't even try that hard to pass for other people.
But sometimes, I feel a bit left out or judged in the trans community. It feels like everyone is talking about surgeries, and like you have to get them to be "complete".
Are there more trans women who do not want any surgeries at all? How do you deal with these feelings?
Thank you for reading. ❤️
