Cross play clarification question

Are lobbies shared between people playing on the PS4 and on the PS5. For example I am playing solo and I search for TDM, will I run into players that are playing on the PS5 with the PS5 version not the PS4 version, and is this the case between Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2, thank you.
