Picture via Joey is "compressed"

Hello recently the picture from my Joey receiver is compressed and boxed, not filling the full screen. I have verified it is not the TV itself. The joey is set to 16:9 but none of this dish receiver adjustments have any effect. Recycling the power on the Joey sometimes fix3s temporarily...
