Help with Shaman Spark Totem Survivability

This is my first time playing arc totem, and my damage is pretty decent i would say, however i find myself dying in expeditions very easily due to buffed mobs with movespeed. Whenever the remnant monsters spawn directly on me im basically insta dead because i cant move away and get blocked.

I am mainly following a guide i saw made by a youtuber called XP games. The build looked really solid and he said there were no downsides, but im really struggling in grand expeditions.

I was playing monk flicker strike before this and was doing fine, but now that im shaman, dying so often and wasting my maps is really annoying. Any feedback is appreciated, or ways to pivot to a better build.
