German Communication

Met a Christian German guy thru an online app. Our conversation is going well- life, cats, future plans etc., except he didn't message me at all since last Saturday. Last convo was his upcoming vacation in almost a week before now. Last message was my reel spam. Is this a cultural thing, is he busy planning and focused on the upcoming vacation, or he ghosted me already? He is online and still checking my stories. For context he disappeared like 2 days last time and his explanation was "needed a quiet reset day, fasted for a day, and let my system calm down a little. No drama, just maintenance mode." Now this is different because it's been a week. I messaged him to ask if how he is yesterday but my message was just seen. He is a full pledged Christian and I don't think he will ghost someone like without an explanation at least. Should I message him for the last time, give a benefit of the doubt or I'll just move on? Is it a norm that I should initiate the conversation whenever I feel he's away that long? Overthinking sucks. :( Thank you.
