Correct Me!

I've been reading Soft Skills for Software Developers every day as part of my 10-minute daily reading habit and I never took a moment to think what I thought about the book and what the author is trying to convey. Unlike a novel that has a story and characters entangled in it, this is a non-fiction book with a clear aim to provide some insights into things we can improve or do in the IT field, but at the same time I've noticed it's US-centric in some sections, while in others the location is not relevant.

I've read more than half of the book and I'm 100 pages or so short of finishing it, so I've found some things insightful or that never crossed my mind such as a framework to learn how to learn new things or strategies to market yourself to get better opportunities in the job market or as a freelancer. There's no deeper meaning to it given that's straightforward and with a clear attempt to give suggestions in things we might have never considered.
