It's disgusting seeing liberals defend child sex offenders just because they're at risk of deportation

I was in another post with an article about an illegal immigrant who raped a 10 year old girl (and was pardoned by Tim Walz) was deported. The article was downvoted into oblivion.

Many comments in the post were defending the guy:

He was pardoned because the victim requested he got pardoned: unusual, the victim was the sister of the guys wife, but whatever. He's still a child sex offender and an illegal. He should not be in the country.

Several people posting: "Trump is a child rapist": Non sequitur. Let's assume that's true (he has not been convicted of this), What does that have to do with this case?

These people are disgusting. About 70 comments defending the guy.
