Any downsides to installing ArmadaOS internally?

I recently seen you can install armada directly on a device using the installer in desktop mode, instead of using a mini sd card. I was wondering if I should dedicate half or more.

Since this is still this early I might end up waiting until someone more knowledgeable than me do it.
