How does the C5 42" compare to the new Alienware and LG 5k2k?

Managed to recently snag the LG C5 42" for about $500+tx and I'm wondering how much better are the latest monitors in comparison.

Been very happy with the LG C3 65" previously and jumped on the C5 42" on sale, but I'm second guessing if the $500 is better spent into the new models, or that they're better but not THAT much better considering the price difference.

Thanks in advance,
