In Georgia how common are people who call their parents by their names?

Hey y'all, Armenian here. For a pretty conservative culture, we have a lot of people who call their parents by their names, and this isn't some new trend. I know people who are in their 50s calling their parents by name. Some parents even try to encourage their kids from a young age to do it instead of saying "mom" and "dad." Even people who don't do it often see nothing wrong with it. They think it's normal.

How are things up by you? Is it common to see children calling their parents by their names? What is the general societal view of it? Thanks!
