Has fortnite ever been this buggy?

I don't want to to on about the 1000 employees or whatever, we've heard that a million times by now but between the locker being broken and not showing the names or descriptions of literally anything and also not being able to ready up for games most of the time because it says "0/2 players ready up" and both people are ready. I want to know why its so broken and why fortnite doesn't want to fix it.
