I Don't Know What to Do About My Driving Lessons

I would like to ask for your advice about something that has been bothering me.

2 months ago, I asked my father for money to start driving lessons and get my driver's license. He gave me some money and told me that if the driving school asked for any additional payment later, he would provide it. I attended my first lesson, but when I later asked him for the remaining amount, he refused and said that he did not even remember making that promise.

The problem is that the driving school calls me almost every day to continue my lessons, but I dont answer their calls. I know this is not the most respectful thing to do, but I feel embarrassed to tell them that I cannot continue the lessons. I have already paid them a considerable amount, but I am unable to pay the remaining balance at the moment.

Honestly idk what I should do in this situation or what I can say to them.
