29 M | Hindu | Project Manager | New York City/Mumbai | May the post find the right person
Alright, before you scroll past another “29M looking for something real” post, let me at least make it worth the 90 seconds.
29 years of living in the two noisiest, most chaotic cities on the planet. Mumbai and New York has given me exactly two things: infinite patience and street smartness that can’t be taught in any classroom.
I grew up on Irani cafes and South Indian breakfast spots in Mumbai. Brooklyn has since introduced me to Chinese tea houses and bodega bagels at 8am and honestly, I’ve made my peace with it.
What I’m looking for: (Putting this first in case you don’t have time to read the whole thing)
Someone between 24 and 29, based in the US or open to moving here, Hindu.
Someone emotionally aware, genuine, and easy to be around. Someone who shows up not waiting for me to figure everything out on her behalf. Communication, whether words or actions, is the foundation of everything for me.
Someone who has her own sense of direction, goals she’s working toward, and a life she’s genuinely excited about. Someone who hasn’t lost her artistic instincts or her feminine side in this fast moving world.
Who I am:
29M | Hindu | Project Manager | New York City / Mumbai
Mumbai born and raised, Marathi at heart, now living in Brooklyn and genuinely loving it. Financially stable, independent, and someone who has figured out how to balance a demanding job with actually enjoying life. Not just existing in this city, really living in it.
I’m a Project Manager; yes, literally helping build New York City. Came from an architecture background in Mumbai which eventually led me into construction and project management. It made sense in hindsight.
What I’m into:
Travelling, football, pickleball, good coffee, cozy cafes, long city walks, PS5, anime, true crime and sci-fi shows, and cooking things that turn out way better than they have any right to.
Life in Mumbai:
Family is everything. Parents, a younger brother, and a cat who absolutely runs the house back home. The family is well settled in Mumbai, roots run deep there and that foundation has always been something I’m proud of. Mumbai will always be home no matter where life takes me. And whenever life in Brooklyn gets too loud, the waterfront here somehow feels like the Bombay seashore. Different skyline, same grounding.
What I appreciate:
Good conversations over small talk. Someone who enjoys the simple things a good meal, a long walk, a spontaneous plan. Warmth without drama. Matching energy, because I give a lot when I feel it’s reciprocated.
What I’m not here for:
A checklist or a timeline. I believe in experiences over end goals. Some of these conversations will become good stories I tell over a beer with my boys. Maybe one of them becomes something more. Either way, I’m not afraid to find out.
Not looking for perfection. Just someone genuine, self aware, and clear about what they want.
Chemistry and comfort matter more than anything else.
DM if any of this felt like a real person wrote it. Because it was.
