I hate the new ending of The Visitor

The first thing was just a great a masterpiece how could they ruin it with this piece of crap.

The first ending had the visitor as this immortal unkillable entity that can't be defeated no matter what. So what does the protagonist does they talk to him and treat them like an actual equal instead of a monster. Explain to him that his presence is causing the death of countless of innocent people and turning others into monsters too. The visitor realized that was doing and decides to leave Earth and goes back into the darkness of space to avoid causing harm to others.

But the second ending the main character somehow defeats the visitor by take advantage of it God like powers and turning the universe into a video game he played and treating it like a final boss it's literally a parody.
