The plague of misleading and fake AI thumbnails and screenshots on Nexus

With the widespread availability of free diffusion based image generation tools, nexus is getting flooded with sloptastic thumbnails and misleading screenshots, and it is very annoying.

Look at these recent "screenshots". You know they have been "improved" with AI image generators because the background tower isn't even consistent:

Or look at how the morthal banner changes every time:

How do the we even know what the mods really looks like in game?

This thumbnail has a character posing to picking a giant lock with a rat running the background. Are any of these elements in the game?

Is this what your mod's mistveil keep really looks like?

Will lockpicking actually look like this when I download your mod?

What's going on with these textures? Is this what's going to be in game?

Does your mod actually add a book called "Nordie Pority"?

And these other thumbnails with meaningless llm marketing terms splattered all over:

what do any of these phrases even mean? does the mod author even know what they mean?

Just stop it. Stop click baiting us with these fake unachievable "screenshots", stop wasting our time with all the deluge of meaningless buzzwords, and if you're too lazy to go inside the game to take some screenshots, did you even test your mod?
