MSI Claw A1M with Cachy

Hello all! Super newb to Linux here. I am wondering how one would apply the drivers / modules for the thumbsticks, buttons and fingerprint reader on the MSI Claw A1M.

I first installed the CachyOS handheld version and everything worked right out the gate. The “SteamOS” launching Big Picture / Gaming Mode worked perfect, and the thumbsticks and buttons worked in desktop mode as well.

I decided that I didn’t want to mess with Switching to Desktop mode with every reboot, though, so I installed CachyOS Desktop instead. The only difference now is that the thumbsticks no longer act as the mouse cursor and the buttons are all non responsive. I would like to have them working the way they did on the handheld edition if possible.

To be honest I really don’t even need gaming mode as I am using this MSI Claw as the brain for my media server. So I will absolutely never game on it. I have other PCs for that. It’s not ultra critical, but I just want it to work for the shiggles of it all.

TL:DR
Using MSI Claw A1M as media server. Want to have the thumbsticks work as the mouse cursor and buttons work as mouse buttons. As of now they are non-operative.
