Running Man - 1987

Question on an old movie, but as I was watching it they show Amber and Fireball discussing the last seasons “winners”. Then like a minute later they show Richards (Arnold) killing Fireball and everyone cheering since they saw it. Did they not broadcast the part of them talking about last seasons “winners” then? Makes sense they didn’t show it but they just kind of gloss over it. I know it is an Arnold movie so not a typical thinking man’s movie but that point just caught me on this probably 50th viewing
