Herd Mentality on r/neworleans - Shame on you.

Yesterday, someone shared an absurd story about an elderly cancer patient being misgendered and accosted in the bathroom at MSY. As incredulous as the story sounded, so many of you jumped at the opportunity to whip out your social justice shields and pitchforks and shit that you dared not even question the story's validity.

And if someone dared speak their mind about how ridiculous the story sounded, not only could you just not downvote and move on with your life, but you reported it so many times as "harassment" that it got taken down (and eventually restored once someone saw the stupidity that was occurring).

Look, you do you, but I feel the need to hold up a mirror for a moment.

You know how when your MAGA grandparents make up stories then get mad at them - you're no different. Use your brains in the future, don't fall for BS.
