Appreciation for the chemistry between Lynch and Miguel Ferrer

Some may not know this, but it's seen in the behind-the-scenes footage of The Return that Lynch fought against the initial shooting schedule to be able to have Ferrer present in The Return. Seeing them on screen together was an absolute delight and it's hard to believe that the only interaction that had in the original run was Albert telling him "I've got the front desk now, he was never here!" in FWWM. The way the two play off each other in both serious (Blue Rose discussion) and comedic scenes (the French woman, "CARSICK!") makes it seem like the two had been working on screen together for years as opposed to it being the first time. I'm glad that things worked out and Lynch was able to have that final experience with his friend.
