Strengthen me brothers

Unlike many of you I haven't closed LinkedIn entirely.

I continue to get contract leads from it (I have 2 that I'm working on landing right now) but I've otherwise locked down my profile. Turns out recuiters can still see details I guess, and one told me they can see any resume you've shared (something to keep in mind).

Anyways, I keep seeing a particular associate post publicly on LinkedIn about implementing software practices that are at least a decade old like they invented the fucking thing and painting their org as innovative when in reality they're just catching up to everyone else and the fact that they're doing so in 2026 is NOT a flex - it's a red flag.

It's annoying and I almost replied....but held off because I'm worried about unintended consequences.

So rather than post there I posted here. Strengthen me in biting my tongue to keep cashing them checks!
