Help with naming Chinese characters
Hi everyone, just as the title says I need help with fixing some names I have for my characters. I am Chinese but I grew up in North America and definitely wouldn't call myself fluent in Mandarin, the only real experience I have with Chinese names are my own and my siblings'. Alot of sources recommend just choosing names you like and sticking them together to see what 'flows right' when spoken, however as a non-native speaker, I can't quite tell if what I'm choosing sounds awkward or not
This is the list of the names I've chosen with a few notes on what I was going for with each. Absolutely any feedback on the vibe each one gives or advice in general on the names and characters themselves would be greatly appreciated as this is my first time!
The setting for these characters is a bit more fantastical and old-timey, so hopefully that was the vibe I was going for. And any alternative suggestions would also be amazing, thanks again in advance!!
