Where to meet other Zillenials in a new town

Just moved to a new town across the country where i know nobody. Personally i feel like i get along with people older than my age as someone whos 22. Grew up in a very low tech household my whole life and i feel like i can talk to 30 year olds for hours, some people my age cant hold a conversation for longer than 30 seconds and start taking selfies of themselves. Ik bars and clubs are options but it kinda feels scary to go out as a guy just 100% solo. Any advice?
