Only children with very involved parents: did you appreciate the attention?

I’ve heard it both ways so I’m curious where the Reddit experiences fall. Did you feel like you had more love, attention, resources etc than other kids because you had your parents all to yourself? Or did it just add pressure and end up feeling suffocating because all their hopes and expectations became your problem?
