Would this game be for me?

I heard Toby fox took some inspiration from it when making undertale and deltarune and that interests me. I’ve played some hard games but it’s not something I prefer I guess. I’ve gotten the true endings for both the hollow knight games and they’re the hardest ones I’ve ever played. Does cave story have a good story too? I know very little about the game other than playing a demo on the Wii when I was 6 lol
