Im active duty us army. Anyone know how is the process to adjustment status?

I began the immigration process for my wife last year, and we already had the interview this year. We were not given a decision at the interview; we were only told that they would review all the documents. We felt that the interview went well. I would like to know approximately how long the process may take, whether there is a way to request an update directly from them, and I have also heard that there may be a way to expedite the process.
