Hair growth on chin/neck
Hi everyone,
I stopped taking Eloine after 3 years as I was inconsistent with taking the pill and I feel like it completely ruined my mood and made me get on weight. I have insulin resistance and pcos
Its been around half a year since I stopped and I have started eating more cleaner around 2 months ago. I started from 80kgs (166cm), im currently 77kg and also doing weight training.
I started noticing hair growing a bit darker but at places where I always had hair due to pcos (bottom of stomach, upper thigh etc). But I think I just started noticing this type of frizzy hair around my chin and Im not sure whether this has always been there or if it has significantly grown. I dont know if im overreacting or not.
Im new to reddit and it doesnt let me add a picture. They are white and “fluffy”, only more noticeable from up close. There is a specific area under my chin/neck where I can definitely see more and longer, still very light though.
I am extremely terrified of getting black, long thick hair. I was born blonde, therefore I feel like I am bit lucky since most of my body hair is blonde especially upper thigh, but i definitely noticed darker hair coming in. Im also due to see a doctor end of this month as my period was again 52 days late.
Has anyone maybe experienced the same? Will it ever get better or any way of trying to reverse or stop this? Im really trying to lose the weight as well to balance my insulin. Since ive been eating more cleaner, i definitely have noticed a reduce in my double chin. I definitely can be an overthinker, but I have been having real bad anxiety about my PMOS symptoms getting worse over time.
