Ubisoft, you suck

I know this is white noise, but something in my brain tells me we have to just keep saying it and maybe something will happen before our grandkids try to play something on Ubisoft.

Ubisoft connect is genuinely criminal.

I paid $60 for a game, specifically because it’s a story mode game that doesn’t require internet and I want to play on my steam deck for a road trip.

But guess what? To play this offline game, you have to log in to Ubisoft connect first. So, I guess I’ll have to use my hotspot to connect.

But guess what? Ubisoft says my password is wrong. I’m 95% sure it’s correct, but I’ll change my password real quick because I know Ubisoft has a reputation of locking accounts if you keep trying.

But guess what? Ubisoft says I can’t change my password to this new password, because that’s an old password. So I try two other passwords that reach ALL of its qualifications, (fancy green check marks to confirm), and it denies both.

AND GUESS WHAT? Ubisoft now tells me I’ve “tried too many” new passwords, and I should “try again later”. WHATS LATER??? I can’t play my damn game! And it’s your garbage, 100% unnecessary platform’s fault!

GENUINELY they are due for a class action. This is criminal.
